staying at southfield was a treat! the caravan was lovely and clean, with a fresh smell as soon as we walked in. the double bed had a memory foam mattress, making it super comfy. plus, the heating system worked well, keeping us cozy. it's really close to the beach too!

The caravan features a kitchen fully stocked with utensils, including an air fryer and slow cooker, making meal prep easy for families. Just a short walk leads you directly to the beach, which is ideal for kids wanting to play in the sand.

The bedding left something to be desired—pillows feel excessively firm and the double bed is cramped, even for two average-sized adults. Adapting to the unfamiliar oven also posed a challenge, which may be an issue if you're used to a different setup at home. the boiler had a tendency to lose heat, leading to inconsistent hot water—not exactly ideal for a cozy shower after a day outdoors.

we had a great time at the southfield. the caravan was clean and tidy, with a kitchen full of everything we needed. it's just a short walk to the beach, which was perfect for the kids. the boathouse served nice food, and there were loads of activities for families, like soft play and swimming.

Great for families looking for fun

The caravan was in great condition, very well equipped, & even had a PlayStation, which made my little girl so excited. The food from the fish and chip hut on the cliff was the best we’ve ever had, it was cheap, but not in a bad way.

It wasn’t exactly budget-friendly, but I mean, it was acceptably priced.

The caravan was absolutely disgusting upon arrival. There was dirt and grime everywhere, and we found black bits in the bedding—how is that acceptable? The lack of hot water due to the faulty boiler made our stay unbearable, especially with a baby. I had to clean the utensils before using them. it felt like we were in a health hazard rather than a vacation spot.

A deep clean is essential for the caravan!!! The shower had black bits, and finding food in the bedding is unacceptable!!! Hot water issues made it uncomfortable, especially with a baby!!!

Avoid if You're Looking for Comfort

Upon arrival, we were disappointed by the cleanliness and maintenance of the caravan. It was overwhelming, especially with a baby. The dining options on-site only added to our frustration as we couldn't enjoy meals in the caravan.

I had a fantastic time exploring nearby attractions like All Saints Church, just over 3 kilometers away, and the charming Skipsea Castle, which was almost 3 kilometers from my stay, making it super easy to enjoy the historical sites while taking peaceful strolls, and I loved that the caravan was spotlessly clean and very well looked after. it showed care and consideration ' comfort.
